The Easy Transport (Day 4 of the 5-Day B&W Photo Challenge)

The escalator in a building in downtown Seattle (the Norton Building).  It’s one of the longest escalators I’ve ever seen.  Many people use it to get from First to Second Avenue if they don’t want to (or can’t) climb the hill between these two streets.  Let’s just say that if you walk it, your Achilles tendons need to be very flexible.  Good exercise, though!
