This photo was taken just a few weeks ago in early October. I was on a bike ride and saw this bride and groom having their photos taken, in the park, in the setting sun. Their photographer was no doubt getting some amazing shots of them (he’s behind the trees on the left) but I also liked the view from where I was passing by, and the way the sun was lighting them, creating silhouettes. I pulled over and had just a moment to snap a couple of pics before they moved on to a posed shot, then off I went. Moments like this make me so glad that I always have my camera with me. Not that this photo will win any famous awards or anything but I enjoy documenting and preserving moments of life and, sometimes, the spontaneous ones can be very sweet surprises.
