About

I am a photographer and writer based in Seattle, Washington (so I’m probably a photographer/writer with low Vitamin D levels). When the gray skies here start to feel a bit heavy and endless (typically from November to February), many who live here try to find a ray of sunshine somewhere on this planet and replenish our bodies and souls. If that is not in the budget, then we break out our ‘happy lights’ and place them on our desks. The trade-off for less sun is being surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees, snowcapped mountains, and plentiful water. The sea, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls have a healing quality of their own and the beautiful mountain ranges are majestic to look upon while walking, driving, or cycling. We may be short on sunshine but we are rich in beauty.

As for my work, I love it so much that it feels like play. When I am making photographs, time stands still for me and it is truly my meditation. Through photography and writing, I share myself and my observations of this world. I LOVE to travel and I hope to merge my work with travel more and more in the future.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate any feedback or comments you would like to share. If you are interested in seeing more of my photography work, please visit my website at… http://www.sharibradburyphotography.com

  1. Thanks so much, Shari, for the follow! I have been enjoying my time on your blog – your photos are beautiful. Visiting Seattle had been on my bucket list for a very, very long time, and I finally got there last summer, on my way to Alaska. It is an incredible city, and I’m so excited to be able to “revisit” through your blog. I’m a happy new follower!

    • Thank you for you gracious comments regarding my work. And, regarding the blog, thank you for sharing this, also, because I have been thinking of changing it… just trying to find a different style/template theme I like that is clean, clear and simple. :)

    • Thank you so much, Guy, for your kind comments and for following along. I enjoy your blog very much, also. I use google translate to interpret your writings and it works well enough to understand the content of what you are saying, which is great. Even though the photographs speak for themselves, it is also interesting to hear what the photographer is saying about the work they are sharing. Kind regards, Shari.
